The Beaufort, South Carolina Water Festival is an 2-week event filled with sporting, water and air events, arts and crafts and nightly entertainment. On the second Satuday of the festival, the Ameris Bank Beaufort team proudly walked in the parade, as this is a highlight of the festival. During the month of May, money was raised by selling paper hearts.

Tips for Kids St. Augustine area locations participated in Tips for Kids. Over the last year, Ameris Bank employees particpated in over Civic Organizations, ranging from national charities to community events. Over 40 of the organizations participated in are designated with the purpose to promote first time homeownership or to support those who have trouble qualifying for a home purchase or mortgage due to past credit or weaker than average financials.

This event invites local businesses and organizations to come to campus and display their products and services. During the event, the Valdosta team served customers hot dogs and an array of homemade desserts. Customers were also invited to participate in the Blood Drive.

At the end of the day, 18 usable pints of blood were donated! Thanks to all who participated in this great event! The event was full of relays and other team activities, such as a team lap swim relay and walking relay.

First runner-up was Anaya Patel and Kinsley Howard was second runner-up. We are proud of these students and wish them the best at the county competition.

Thursday, December 6, Congratulations to our third-graders who placed in the school spelling bee recently. Brenna Wilson was our first runner-up and Wesley Herring was second runner-up.

They were very creative and resourceful in making their characters. Bus Safety Posted On: Wednesday, October 24, Thomas County Schools Transportation Department presented information and skits to explain to our students how to remain safe while waiting for, riding, and disembarking the bus. Our bus drivers are the first faces that greet many of our students daily.
