Cana slept well that night for the first time the whole week. No one had ever told Gildarts about that incident at the Grand Magic games as far order and relationships that they fell into held nuanced and varied meanings. Spirit mage is knowing when to use them and when to trust what they tell you.". Gildarts Clive (ギルダーツ ・クライヴ Girudātsu Kuraivu) is one of the Fairy Tail Guild's S-Class He is the father of Cana Alberona. As Natsu arrives at his house, he instantly asks about his relationship with Lisanna, seemingly .. Makarov also has an enormous trust on Gildarts, as he showed him Fairy Tail's biggest secret.
A high three-digit to a low four-digit at maximum. Then she went and broke the damn machine. His face broke out into one of his mad smiles.
Perhaps there was more to her than meets the eye. And he took it upon himself to find out whether or not that was true. Bacchus had learned that when doing puzzles, it was best to start around the edges. Those pieces were the easiest to identify, with straight sides. They served as the outline of the whole picture.
And so that was what he did in the process of figuring her out. He looked up to find her standing on the ledge of the pool, clad in nothing but lacy underwear. It wasn't like it revealed any more than the other bathing suits worn at Ryuuzetsu Land that day, but she was still undoubtedly one of the hottest girls there.
He decided she was one of those practical people who didn't think there was much of a difference between bikinis and lingerie. He nodded coolly, unashamed of his panda-themed rubber floatation device. The other boys were immediately taken with her. She had a very lax, very easy going personality. While utterly feminine, she was a one-of-the-boys kind of girl. They had fun, up until the crazy Fairies wreaked mayhem on the place and it was reduced to nothing but shambles and unconscious bodies.
He awoke to find her sprawled across his chest, and he didn't mind in the slightest. It was a long period of time before he had the chance to meet her again. The Daimatou Enbu culminated in tragedy, mayhem, horror and death.
It all turned out okay, thanks to Fairy Tail. Barely a year back and they've returned to saving the world. Months passed after the Grand Magic Games fiasco. He had just finished up a mission, and was about to treat himself for a job well done at the nearest bar he could find.
He strolled in, slapped the money on the counter and gave the bartender a look that clearly stated 'don't keep me waiting. He had lost count —a busty brunette took the stool next to him. Look who it is," he said without bothering to check. She had a hard, determined look upon her face.
She slammed her own cash on the counter so loud that the whole pub had quieted down and watched. She only had one thing in mind. He would have paused for a moment just to appreciate the sight of a woman with her figure chugging down endless mugs of beer. But he had a competition to win, so he settled for peripheral vision. He figured they could call it a draw, because the next thing he knew he had her pressed up against the wall, trailing hot kisses down her neck.
They could have called it a one night stand since they pursued no romantic relationship in the morning or in the days after. Yet they had kept in contact. They sought each other out for company whenever they had the time. He landed himself a new bar hopping buddy, and he was sort of glad for the change.
He hadn't the need for lonely nights anymore. Cana was fun; she was hilarious, and game for anything exhilarating. She was genuine and alive. And she definitely knew how to have a good time. A gaggle of females had caught sight of him and started giggling obnoxiously, pointing at his back and whispering none too quietly.
Though he had to admit, the attention stroked his manly pride. They had another round of snickers, accompanied by another round of shots. Another reason he loved hanging out with her was because she said the most profound things even when sloshed. It was open mic night at the bar they had chosen for the evening. He should have never let her up there.
But the people roared with laughter and applause, probably because they were all more intoxicated than she even if she had more to drink. She gave a tipsy bow and shakily walked off stage. Bacchus got up to help her down. They talked for a while, exchanged stories on their latest jobs and happenings in their respective guilds without revealing too much.
Even under the influence, they understood that well enough. He excused himself to the bathroom for just a quick while, but when he returned, she was surrounded but numerous admirers. It was easy to see why. She didn't seem to mind the attention. In fact, it looked as if she revelled in it. And that was what made his blood boil. He lost it when a passing man purposely spilled beer on her just to use another pick-up line.
Sure, after seeing her blast that MPF machine, he had no doubt in his mind that she was powerful. But at that moment, she was smashed. Even the strongest of mages were vulnerable when caught in that state. And yet before he could intervene, she took her Tarot Cards out of her shoulder bag. The card glowed and in a flash all of her suitors fell to the floor. She noticed him standing there dumbfounded and winked at him. She walked over the bodies, carelessly treading on a few limbs and fingers.
That was only the beginning, but he was getting somewhere. He was finished with the outside of the picture, and it was time for the harder middle bit.
They had another one of their challenges, and for the first time ever, she had out-drank him. She had let out a cry of victory, only to find him whizzed out with his eyes in spirals. It was a short lived celebration. She was forced to take him home that night. His house was too far away, nearer Quatro Cerberus's territory, but it was too late for them to take the train and she didn't know how to use transportation magic that far.
She resigned to taking him back to her own apartment. The only things he appeared to truly care about were the strength and reputation of Fairy Tail, and he became enraged every time someone made fun of it. However, after his excommunication it appears that his attitude has changed.
He seems far more light-hearted and serene, and apparently has grown fond of the guild in his current state. He was also willing to take all the responsibility of the crimes for himself, in order for the Thunder God Tribe to remain members of the guild, even encouraging them for the time being. During the Fantasia parade, when Makarov, alongside the whole Fairy Tail, silently told Laxus that he would always be watching over him right before his departure, he shed tears and was ashamed of his previous actions.
While he is a likely candidate to succeed his grandfather in leading Fairy Tail, Makarov initially believed Laxus' intentions were not yet right, something proven right when Laxus stated that, once he had inherited leadership of Fairy Tail, he would have eliminated all the weak members to create the strongest guild in the country.
As a Dragon Slayer, Laxus suffers from motion sickness, although he is extremely ashamed to admit it. She is a heavy drinker, but hardly ever gets drunk, no matter how much she drinks. She's also Gildarts Clive's daughter. Cana is a tall, slim, young woman with an ample bust. She has long, brown hair, that reaches down to the middle of her back, with the shade varying from time to time, having been initially portrayed as bright brown, then black, and ultimately plain brown.
Two long strands of hair frame her face which reach down below her shoulders, with the left one starting from a prominent, high fringe. Her hair is curlier in the manga than in the anime, in which it appears more thick and wavy. After the S-Class Trial, Cana was momentarily shown with her hair tied in a high ponytail. Cana has large brown eyes, with long eyelashes. Cana's face is noticeably sharper in the manga compared to her appearance in the anime.
She possesses a very voluptuous figure, with large breasts and curvy hips, which slowly become more and more defined in later stages of the series.
Her black Fairy Tail stamp is located on the lower left part of her abdomen, right above her hips. Cana's fingernails, while usually shown to be cut back and uncolored, are sometimes kept long and adorned by nail polish of different colors: Cana's shapely upper body is usually left largely exposed, with most of her attires being distinctively scanty. Her standard outfit consists of a light blue bikini top which features a camouflage pattern, a pair of calf-length brown pants, with two bands hanging from each leg and a light belt covered in heart motifs loosely tied around the waist, and high-heeled sandals.
She also had a pair of metal bracelets adorning her biceps, bearing an incision composed of many "A"s, and three simple, round metal bracelets on her right wrist.
Around the time of the S-Class Trial, Cana wore a new outfit, very similar to her standard one, but slightly more concealing: Her black, calves-long pants were held up by a tighter-fitting, pinkish purple belt adorned by red hearts, and her high-heeled sandals were replaced by short-heeled ones, secured to her feet by many striped bands, going up to her middle calves.
While in this outfit, she had no visible jewelry. During the first stages of the arc, she wore a revealing, dark bikini paired with light-colored flip-flops. Catwho Friends don't let friends drink and use magic, at least not without a permit!
The Cana Conundrum, a fairy tail fanfic | FanFiction
The courtship of Cana and Bacchus continues, with lots of inebriated shenanigans for your reading consumption. Cana's life will always be filled with love, laughter, and drinks.
Lots and lots of drinks. Lots of dedicated followers, too, it seems. It's 1AM and this chapter is 5, words. She hadn't realized just how tense the whole guilt thing had made her, but now it was as if a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders. Now that they were officially "dating," she figured she owed a word of thanks to Mirajane, as well as an explanation of that situation yesterday to Erza and the rest of the guild.
So she showered, put on her pretty new red top from the beer festival, and headed down the hill from the dorms to the guild. She walked in as casually as she possibly could, but of course the guild was having none of that. She placed her hand on her forehead, just imagining what would happen No one had ever told Gildarts about that incident at the Grand Magic games as far as she knew, but if world reached the strongest mage in Fairy Tail that she'd been humiliated twice by the same man She dropped into her usual bar stool, and then slapped her hand on the counter.
Cana took it gratefully and downed it all in one go. She drummed her fingers on the table; she really did not want to go into detail with Mirajane.
I'm so glad for you. She nursed another drink - just a simple shot of rum in milk, gotta get those nutrients in somehow - and laid out a complex card reading for herself on the flat surface of the bar.
Although her work was silent, she attracted a few of the Fairy Tail members who was probably curious about the incident yesterday and wanted an excuse to be near her in case her reading somehow gave them information. The simple six card reading she had given Bacchus was nothing compared to this. All twenty two cards of the major arcana were laid out, and the order and relationships that they fell into held nuanced and varied meanings. She was annoyed that "The Lovers" fell into the position that it did, although considering she was now officially dating the martial artists, that wasn't surprising.
But this reading wasn't for her. It was for Bacchus. She was still mighty intrigued about the situation he was in, and using her most mysterious magic if you could call skill and intuition magic she wanted to know more about him. The Hierophant fell into a position dominating the reading. That indicated that the bedrock of the issue in his family was with a patriarchal authority figure, but more importantly, one who held a seat of power too.
The rest of the reading was ambiguous. It seemed there were many players involved in whatever family drama he was dealing with, and the situation was a long standing rift, not a recent development.
And yet, she got a sense that there was no open hostility between those closest to him. Whoever the Hierophant was, he was distant, either physically or perhaps in the family tree. Distant, yet still the cause upon all the other effects before her. She spent so long staring at the final arrangement of the cards that almost all her audience drifted off. Even Mirajane eventually left, so that only Kinana remained at the bar, and the violet haired woman was nowhere near as nosy as the eldest Strauss sibling.
However, one person stayed, and eventually Cana glanced beside her to see Lucy staring as intently at her cards as she had been. That card usually fell into a place that represented her mother when she did a personal reading, but in this reading for Bacchus it held no maternal aspects, only its secondary meanings of wisdom and feminine insight. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses, and part of being a skilled Stellar Spirit mage is knowing when to use them Wendy and Gajeel wouldn't gossip, however, and Natsu was too embroiled in his daily scuffle with Gray to have noticed.
She was only a few months older than Lucy, but had a lifetime more experience with relationships. Lucy, for all her curves and confidence in her looks, was shy around men.
It didn't help that her primary shots at having a love interest within the guild were a flame headed idiot, a frozen emotional recluse, and a stellar spirit who had already left a trail of broken hearts littered across Earthland. Hell, compared to Lucy, Cana's romance situation was a lot less complicated. He doesn't live in Magnolia, right?
But, he had warned her, S-class missions often lasted longer than a week. If he was unable to make it, he'd send her notice ahead of time. Cana's weekend plans were abruptly altered a few days later, but not because of his work.
She walked down toward the guild, thinking that perhaps she'd take a minor job to keep herself occupied and to not have to eat too much into her new savings from the MUI mission. She changed her mind the second she noticed the town had changed to Gildarts formation.
However, the rational adult in her quickly overcame the child. It was too soon. Bacchus had kidnapped her in front of the entire guild not three days ago.
Someone in the guild was going to tattle. She knew it completely. Someone would be totally thrilled to squeal on her, to dish all the sordid details to her father, just for the lulz and to see the eruption of anger on his face. And if that happened and she couldn't stop it, Gildarts was going to kill Bacchus. Running wasn't going to be enough.
